Jeyakumar is a consultant to the GloW programme, with deep expertise in human nutrition and food technology. His current research explores how to adapt the Mediterranean diet to Asian contexts while retaining its health benefits. Formerly the founding director of the Clinical Nutrition Research Centre at A*STAR, he has held senior leadership roles at the Singapore Institute of Food and Biotechnology Innovation. Jeyakumar holds a PhD in nutrition from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine and focuses on translating nutrition science into practical food applications.
