Michelle joined Mintel in 2016, bringing over eight years of experience in the food and nutrition industry. As Associate Director of Food Science for Asia Pacific, she specialises in food science and ingredients. Her role involves researching and providing insights on market developments, trends, and consumer demands across food and drink categories, including ingredients, health, and supplements. She also manages the India Food and Drink analyst team, guiding and reviewing consumer report content. Michelle represents Mintel as an industry expert at trade shows, conferences, and in the press. Prior to Mintel, Michelle focused on nutrition and dietetics, with experience in food service, clinical nutrition, health and wellness programme management, and research. She has worked as a nutritionist at Compass Group and as a research analyst at the Food and Nutrition Research Institute in the Philippines. Michelle holds a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition and Dietetics and is a licensed Nutritionist-Dietitian in the Philippines and Singapore.
